The erection process of the INNEO tower is similar to the erection process of the tubular steel towers. That is, each tube section is raised and placed on top of the lower one until the complete tower is erected. There are only three differences in the process:

• There is no immediate need to work on the horizontal joints because the own weight of the sections makes them stable.
• The tower can be completely erected with no need of installing the nacelle. The stiffness of the tower makes this possible by minimizing the sensitivity to vortex shedding.
• The INNEO tower doesn't need any post-tensioning - neither vertical nor horizontal. The simple and fast execution of the horizontal joints consistant of embedded bars guarantees the monolithic system and a good dynamic behaviour and fatigue strength.

Once this fast process is over, INNEO is ready to offer the client the assembly of the nacelle and blades in one extra day, taking profit of the ready-to-use crane previously used for tower erection.
